This past Sunday at Edgemere Bible Church we talked about saying yes to God. While there are many areas that we need to say yes to God in, one of the toughest is Forgiveness. Yet the bitterness and the anger that it brings can paralyze us. We talked about one of the greatest examples of forgiveness you will ever see from World War II is provided from Louis Zamperini. A Pure Heart April 8, 2018
We can say sorry a lot, but never really mean it. We make children apologize, but usually it is said while plotting the next attack. It works it way into our relationship with Jesus as well, we go to bed and give it the please forgive all my sins as sleep takes over. In the Bible we see a man who committed sins, covered it up until he was called out. Then we see one of the deepest, gut wrenching I am sorry, the likes of which we need to experience in our own lives. Check it out.

Replacing Fear With Faith February 18, 2018
To take that risk, to take the step of following God's calling, we will need to overcome the fear that resides in us. Once overcome, that fear will need to be replaced. If not replaced it can come back, and have even a stronger grip than before. You and I need to replace that fear with faith. it is only through faith that will be willing and able to follow God's call. Check it out.
