This past Sunday at Edgemere Bible Church we talked about saying yes to God. While there are many areas that we need to say yes to God in, one of the toughest is Forgiveness. Yet the bitterness and the anger that it brings can paralyze us. We talked about one of the greatest examples of forgiveness you will ever see from World War II is provided from Louis Zamperini. Check it out.

Replacing Fear With Faith February 18, 2018
To take that risk, to take the step of following God's calling, we will need to overcome the fear that resides in us. Once overcome, that fear will need to be replaced. If not replaced it can come back, and have even a stronger grip than before. You and I need to replace that fear with faith. it is only through faith that will be willing and able to follow God's call. Check it out.

How Long Before We Experience The Peace of God? February 11,2018
We have been talking about being willing to take a risk for God, in order to have peace. Receiving that peace from the one who is the creator, and sustainer of this universe, as well as the one who can calm the storms of life. Then the question was asked, when do we get that peace. This Sunday we talked about that at Edgemere Bible Church, check it out.

No Risk, No Peace February 4, 2018
If we are honest most of us would say, if I avoid risk I will have peace. Yet, in the passage we looked at today Jesus seems to be telling us we must in fact take the risk if we are to have peace. As Jesus shared with His followers, He made it clear that there will be sacrifices, and our devotion needs to be to Him. Just as clearly we see if we follow Jesus, He is the one who can bring a perfect calm into any storm. Check it out.
Taking A Risk - Caleb January 28,2018
We use many excuses as we wrestle with God in regards to obedience, at least one of which is true. At some point we will say I am to old for that, while age keeps increasing it is nothing more than an excuse. Today we looked at one person who could have used the age excuse, but his desire to serve God was to strong. Check it out.

Taking A Risk - Abraham
This Sunday we continued to talk about taking a risk. Sometimes the fear comes because of what it might cost us, be it something or someone. Abraham faced that when God ask him to give up someone he had waited a hundred years to arrive. That is the fear that holds many back, what will it cost and will it be with it. Check it out.

Taking A Risk- Noah
When we think about taking risks, there are many times we feel like we are the only one. It is true that Noah was the only one building the ark, but many were being called to obedience. Today you may be the only one called to reach your family member, or coworker, but you are not alone, many are being called as well. Think about this as you pray about taking a risk. Sunday's sermon at Edgemere Bible Church.

Are You Lukewarm?
Finishing the seven churches in the book of Revelation, and it probably fits the church of today. Jesus told the church of Laodicea that they were lukewarm and He wanted to trow up. Today the church is lukewarm and I think Jesus probably wants to throw up, but we don't have to be that way. Give a listen.
