Taking A Risk- Noah

When we think about taking risks, there are many times we feel like we are the only one. It is true that Noah was the only one building the ark, but many were being called to obedience. Today you may be the only one called to reach your family member, or coworker, but you are not alone, many are being called as well. Think about this as you pray about taking a risk. Taking A Risk

It is a New Year and many are making changes in their lives. Setting goals, making plans, all the things we do at the beginning of a New Year. Yet there is a struggle going on, and it can stop us from accomplishing those changes we want to make. We need to set a new goal, make a new plan, we need to be willing to take a risk. Check this out, and see if you are up to taking a risk.

What We Really Need For Christmas

It is that time of year where you are trying to figure out what to get everyone in our life. It gets to the point that we are not sure if we need anything, or if we even need Christmas at all. In reality there is something we need, and we really do need Christmas. I hope you will check it out.

As we enter the season of giving, we have been talking about giving at Edgemere Bible Church.  We have talked about giving our time, our talents, and giving thanks.  Sunday we talked about the hardest part of giving, the giving of our resources.  Of course our first thought goes to money and that is hard to give.  Yet, the Bible tells us that if we look at how we spend our money,  you can add time and talents as well, then you will see the focus of your heart.  Our giving is not just a money thing, it is a heart issue.  A heart issue that if changed will lead you and I to one of the best Christmas experiences you will ever encounter.  Check it out, and check out your heart as well.

Giving Our Talent

First we say we have no talent, then we are not sure where it would fit if we did have any talent.  In this sermon we look at the idea that first off, you and I do in fact have talent.  In fact talent that has been given to us by God, and He has placed us in this body with a purpose.  Check out this weeks sermon and see how you feel about this.

The Battle 10/29/17

This Sunday's sermon at Edgemere Bible Church.  We are back and talking about the Kingdom of God, and the kingdom work in which we are to be involved.  For most before or as we take that step there is going to be a battle, and it is during that battle that we decide to begin or continue that kingdom work.  Check it out, but before you do google the picture vulture and the little girl it is referenced during the sermon.

Real Repentance

Sermon today at Edgemere Bible Church.  Last week we talked about the Call that went out to the seven churches in Revelation, and that continues today.  It is a call to repentance, and it continues to the church today.  We have seen some respond I have sinned, but is that true repentance.  I hope you will check it out.
